A Sacred place on Himmelbjerget for inner and outer connection with Nature
This summer a dedicated team will be co-creating a sacred space in a beautiful secluded area of Himmelbjerggården.
An outside temple area to nourish a deep connection with Mother Earth - Our home.
A vibrant space for connecting with nature, for inner work, celebrations and other practices - to align us with nature and all the beings that we share this planet with.
ANCIENT FUTURE - SEEDS OF A NEW CIVILIZATION
This transformational journey of creating the Temple area is inspired by the mythological ritual performance, Ancient Future: Seeds of a new Civilization, created by visionary artist Dana Lynne Andersen. A performance first shared at the Climate Change and Consciousness Conference at Findhorn in April 2019.
The performance is a mirror of the transformational journey we are on as a global people. We have to explore solutions coming from a higher place of consciousness and connect deeply with the profound inner, ancient wisdom we carry inside. Living life united with the heartbeat of the one life flowing in all of creation, old realities will dissolve into star dust - spreading hope and trust into the collective field and our shared future.
CO-CREATING SACRED SPACE
The collective awareness field during the temple building will be supported by regular gatherings like meditations, sharing circles, fire ceremonies, collective dinners, music, singing and much more.
Togetherness is an essential part of the creative process, and the aim is to enter into a flow where we observe and listen to the area where we are creating the sacred space. In harmony with nature, the team will design, build and transform the space, both inside and outside themselves.
WE ARE INSPIRED BY SACRED SPACES AROUND THE WORLD
Our world has so much beauty, and for a long time, people all over the world have dedicated their vision, hearts and energy to creating sacred spaces for celebrating life and uniting people - places that often invite us to connecting with the more subtle energies that are present all around us.
Here is a collection of creations that have inspired us. We feel deep gratitude for those who have created before us.
GREEN TRANSITION - CARING FOR OUR PLANET
All income from Himmelbjerggårdens summer activities willl help finance our new heating system that we are installing this summer. We are going from burning wooden pellets to heating the more than 6000 sqm of our buildings only with heat pumps. A 100 % transition into renewable energy.
This concrete action will reduce our carbon footprint by 322 tons CO2 pr. year! An action we are proud of!
"Be the change you wish to see in the world".
